*Two people remained in the Hall County Jail without bond early Saturday afternoon following their arrests by the GBI Thursday on drug trafficking charges. Jacques Latron Franks, 41, who is also being held for probation violation, and Monique Renee Burton, 32, were booked Thursday afternoon. A sheriff’s office spokeswoman referred us to the GBI for other information on the charges against them. But a spokeswoman for that agency said “We will research these cases and circle back to you. As these are open investigations, we are likely limited to what can be shared.”
*The Hall County Sheriff’s Office reports receiving a burglary call in the 5900 block of Cleveland Highway in Clermont. The report says the burglary occurred sometime between Feb. 24 and Friday. It was reported Friday afternoon.
