Two University of Georgia student-athletes from our area were among those scheduled to pick up their degrees at commencement exercises Friday.
They are Sevaughn Clark of Dawsonville and Daniel Jackson of Gainesville. Both were members of the UGA football team.
They were two of 12 members of the team who were to get their degrees. In addition, two baseball players were on the list, one equestrian team member, two women’s soccer, one softball, one swimming and diving, one tennis, three men’s track and field, and one volleyball.
