(FROM GA. NEWS NETWORK) – A Georgia high school football team is canceling the first game of the season due to a bus crash.
More than a dozen Rome players were injured when the bus flipped several times in Polk County after a scrimmage against Rockmart last week. The driver WHO caused the wreck is now facing DUI charges.
The head coach said it was a no-brainer to cancel this Friday’s match-up against Creekside because they’re still addressing injury protocols.
