Ga. State football coach resigns

Sean Elliott has resigned as head football coach at Georgia State to become the tight ends coach at the University of South Carolina.  Elliott coached the Panthers for seven seasons.  They won four bowl games during his tenure.  Before coming to Georgia State, Elliott was an assistant coach at South Carolina, and was named the interim head coach when former head coach Steve Spurrier retired.
