Ga. delegation split over Santos ouster vote

The Georgia U.S. House delegation was split but not along party lines today as Rep. George Santos was expelled.

Five of the 13 members of the delegation, including the 9th District’s Andrew Clyde (R-Jackson County), voted not to remove the New York freshman Republican. He was joined by fellow Republicans Mac Collins, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Rich McCormick. The lone Democrat joining them in voting “no” was Nikema Williams.
