Ga. 365 resurfacing planned

Eleven miles of resurfacing on Georgia 365 in Hall and Habersham counties are planned, according to an announcement Friday from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

The $13.5 million project is one of several included in a bid letting in January.

The work will begin in Hall County at State Route 52 and extend northward to J. Warren Road in Habersham. The work is supposed to be finished by Dec. 31.

Another northeast Georgia project that was given the go-ahead by the GDOT Board of Directors is the installation of “Sharp Curve” warning signs on various roads in Habersham, Lumpkin, White, Rabun, Towns, and Union counties at a cost of one million dollars. That work is supposed to be finished by April 30, 2025.
