Hall County sheriff’s deputies have arrested and charged a Cobb County woman in connection with a hit-and-run on Ga. 365 last Friday.

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE.

“Deputies responded to the crash at White Sulphur Road at approximately 7:20 p.m.

According to the preliminary investigation, David Loza, 21, of Gainesville, was southbound on Ga. 365 and stopped at a red light. A southbound driver behind him rear-ended his 2004 Acura TL. Assisting deputies then located the 2007 Volkswagen Jetta and conducted a traffic stop at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Cleveland Highway near Green Circle. They arrested the driver, Kendra Denise Brooks, 38, of Acworth, on the following misdemeanor charges:

  • Duty to stop at an accident (hit-and-run)
  • Following too closely
  • Duty to make immediate report of an accident
