The 15-year-old Eastanollee boy who was killed June 29 in a traffic accident in Habersham County involving the church van he was in will be held next week.
Four other teens were seriously injured when an alleged drunken driver crossed into the path of the van on Georgia 365 in Habersham County and is facing charges of DUI and Vehicular Homicide in the First Degree. Teddy Bone’s obituary describes him this way: “Teddy was a charming and vibrant young man, beloved by his family and friends. He loved basketball and participated in sports at Trinity Classical School, Upward Basketball, White Creek Christian Academy, and AAU Basketball. His laughter was infectious, he had boundless energy, he was full of life and always scheming up ways to spend time with friends. His passion for life, love for God, and unwavering loyalty to family and friends defined him. Teddy’s dreams were as big as his heart – including his dream of one day playing college basketball.”
As “a celebration of Teddy’s life,” his family chose to “continue his legacy of bringing life and love to others” by donating his organs.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 4:00 at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church in Martin, Georgia.
