97.5 Glory FM has confirmed that Free Chapel is planning a ministerial retreat in South Hall – and the Hall County Planning Commission has recommended approval of those plans.
The commission was told Monday night the Tanner’s Mill Road site will be called Shiloh Place and will be located on property that was once the home of Gainesville businessman Milt Robson and also served as the location for the short-lived TV series “Monarch.”
The facility would include a chapel, a family counseling center and wellness center among other things. A lodge and 30 cottages would be available for overnight stays.
County commissioners are scheduled to consider the matter March 27.
