The Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations & Elections (BRE) is
seeking input from voters about Advance Voting for this year’s election cycle.
Several statewide special elections are scheduled to take place in 2025. The first is a statewide
Special Primary for two Public Service Commission (PSC) districts scheduled for June 17.
“Due to some upcoming construction, all typical Advance Voting locations in the County are not
expected to be available for Advance Voting in 2025,” said Director of Voter Registrations & Elections
Mandi Smith. “That’s why the board is considering needed changes to Advance Voting for this year’s
election cycle, and they want to get residents’ feedback.”
Input can be submitted via the Voter Registrations & Elections page of the Forsyth County website at
www.forsythco.com/vote through 5 p.m. March 31.
Comments can also be provided in person at the Voter Registrations & Elections Office (1201 Sawnee
Drive), by phone at (770) 781-2118 or by email to [email protected] through noon on
March 31.
During its regular monthly meeting April 1, the BRE will review all feedback received, and
discuss and consider this topic. The meeting will be held at the Voter Registrations & Elections Office
at 9 a.m. and is open to the public. There will be an opportunity for public comment on this topic during
the meeting.
