A former Gainesville home-based daycare operator and one of her then-employees have each been indicted by a county grand jury on ten charges each of child cruelty. Stacie Fuller Young, 51, and Ptiery Verby-Sunshine Edge, 35, were arrested in January 2025 by Hall County sheriff’s detectives.
They were arrested, the sheriff’s office said at the time, after two children under their care were found to have elevated levels of melatonin and Benadryl in in their bloodwork.
