Flowery Branch man facing drug trafficking charge

Sean Chandler Colee, 58, of Flowery Branch remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond following his arrest last week on methamphetamine trafficking charges.

HCSO NARRATIVE:

“On May 11…investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Special Investigations Unit (SIU) became aware of possible drug activity at a location on Williams Road.

Investigators determined Colee had been living in a camper at the location. During the course of their investigation, the agents developed probable cause for a search of the camper and a shop located on the property. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators, along with Warrant Service Unit deputies and a K9 team, conducted a search of the camper and the shop on May 28.

Investigators located and seized a clear plastic bag that contained a white powdery substance, later determined to be methamphetamine. Colee was not home at the time of the search.

Investigators then obtained an arrest warrant for Colee for…trafficking of methamphetamine (29 grams with an estimated street value of $2,900). Warrant Service Unit deputies returned to the Williams Road property on June 3 and located Colee. He was taken into custody without incident.”
