FBPD: Flowery Branch businessman arrested on theft, fraud charges

“In late (late January) the Flowery Branch Police Department received a report of unauthorized credit card charges being made at the business of Pallet Liquidations, 5540 Atlanta Highway in Flowery Branch.

The victim indicated she had indeed provided her credit card information to the owner of the Pallet Liquidations business, Mr. Jeffery Manders, and completed a purchase of flooring in October of 2023.

In the weeks following the legitimate purchase, the victim discovered her credit card had been charged on two additional occasions for approximately $3700.00 each time. One of the two unauthorized charges was made by a credit card terminal belonging to Half Price Outfitters, a second business operated by Mr. Manders at the same address. The Flowery Branch Police Department quickly commenced an investigation into the matter.

Upon conducting further investigation, Investigators located two additional victims with similar complaints regarding two unauthorized credit card transactions and six attempted unauthorized credit card transactions. The two additional victims advised they had ordered flooring from the business in October of 2023, and paid for it, but never received the purchased product. After the victims initial purchase, their cards were charged without authorization.”
