Flowery Branch has begun accepting bids for construction of a downtown welcome center.
The plan is to “rehabilitate” a city office building at 5318 Railroad Avenue into the facility.
Bid documents describe the project this way: “The work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to build new public restrooms, retail space and office area according to the details in the specifications.”
The deadline for submitting bids is Oct. 22 at 1:00.
