*A 21-year-old man has been arrested on a number of charges, including fleeing/attempting to elude. Charges also include speeding, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, wrong class of driver’s license, and improper display of license plates. He was booked into the Hall County Jail early Saturday morning. (No other information on this case is expected to be released until Monday when law enforcement administrative offices open following the weekend.)
*Gainesville Police are investigating a $24,000 theft from the 600 block of E.E. Butler Parkway. Lt. Jessica Van said Friday “a parked open trailer was taken from the parking lot” sometime between last Sunday and Tuesday when it was reported. Lt. Van added that there was “no identifying information on the stolen trailer at the time of the initial report. No suspect information at this time.”
