HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 2:20…Hall County Fire Rescue along with units from Gainesville Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Jordan Drive for reports of a residential fire. First arriving units found a single-family home on a basement that was fully involved.
Crews began an attack on the bulk of the fire from the exterior of the home. The flames were knocked down quickly as they completed a primary search. The structure was all clear and five people were displaced as a result.
Two of the residents were transported to NEGMC Gainesville for further evaluation. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
