FCSO: ‘The Grinch’ has been arrested

Forsyth County authorities say they have arrested a man believed responsible for the theft of hundreds of dollars’ worth of items in packages that had been delivered to homes in Forsyth and surrounding counties.

“After numerous citizens reporting packages stolen from their front porches, and lots of doorbell camera photos, deputies have located and arrested an individual matching the description and photos submitted, in possession of open packages and merchandise from across Forsyth County and surrounding counties,” according to a Facebook posting by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) in which he was labeled “The Grinch.”

Other information on the suspect and his crimes were not immediately available, but you can click here to see the full post which includes a dash cam and body cam video of the arrest: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0jMd4qvwQYkmcD7WdrzYrBKQakxNyjN4KNBf7hPJAfaeqdgGnziiSntW9AtAM94t6l&id=100064412632972

And the sheriff’s office reminds you, if you have packages being delivered this holiday season, please make sure you retrieve them as quickly as possible, have a neighbor watching for them, or have some way to monitor your front door/porch area.
