FBPD collars two more alleged shoplifters

Flowery Branch Police have arrested a pair of alleged shoplifters in the value of stolen items was placed at several hundred dollars – this time for an incident that occurred a week ago.

FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPARTMENT (FBPD) NEWS RELEASE:

“On February 10…police were made aware of a theft that occurred at a home improvement store located in the 5800 block of Spout Springs Road.

The business reported that, between February 5 and February 6…an unknown individual or individuals took roofing shingles from a pallet that was being stored on the exterior of the
building. The stolen property was valued at nearly $1,100.

…Investigators were finally able to identify two suspects in connection to the theft: Carlos Randolph, 49, of
Conyers, Georgia, and Destun Thomas, 25, of Conyers, Georgia. Based on
the investigation, probable cause was established, and arrest warrants
were obtained for both individuals, charging them with felony theft by
shoplifting.

(Recently), both…were taken into custody by authorities in Gwinnett County.
The Flowery Branch Police Department continues to investigate the case.
