Exploitation; Traffic accident, serious injury; Burglary; Cemetery damaged

*A 57-year-old man, who was arrested Friday, is facing a number of charges as a result of a domestic incident. The charges include Exploit/Inflict Pain/Deprive Disabled/Elder/Resident, Aggravated Assault, Discharge Firearms on Property of Another, and Discharge Firearms Near Public Highway. Bond has been set at $8,300.

*Charges against a 32-year-old man who was jailed Friday night include Serious Injury by Vehicle; Following Too Closely; Reckless Driving; and other traffic offenses. His bond is set at $1,560.

*A burglary charge has been filed against a 35-year-old man who was arrested Friday afternoon and whose bond has been set at $1,300. He is also charged with Criminal Trespass.

*The Lula Cemetery was damaged Thursday afternoon after a car ran off Cemetery Road. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says the vehicle drove “through a portion of the cemetery and (damaged) some landscaping.” Charges against the driver include Failure to Maintain Lane and Duty to Stop Upon Striking Fixed Object.

Other details of each of these incidents are not likely to be available until Monday morning after law enforcement offices reopen after the weekend.
