Election Eve roundup

(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Metro Atlanta is continuing to be a popular campaign stop just ahead of Election Day. J.D. Vance is expected to speak in Cobb County today, just after Tim Walz made an election stop in the same county yesterday. Donald Trump campaigned in Macon yesterday, while Kamala Harris appeared in Atlanta Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) told NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday the more Black men hear from Harris the more they like her. Warnock says the race is close but added there will be no massive turnout of Black men supporting Trump.

Republicans are trying to fight the return of absentee ballots in several metro Atlanta counties. The party claims that it was illegal for counties like Fulton to stay open over the weekend so voters could drop off their absentee ballots because early voting ended Friday. A judge ruled against their argument, citing that absentee ballots can be delivered by seven tomorrow night.
