EHHS basketball player seriously injured in wreck

An East Hall High School basketball player was seriously injured in a traffic accident Saturday night, according to a GoFund account set up for the family by Jessica Burce, President of the East Hall High School Tipoff Club.

“Chasen (Jones) has been a beloved member of the East Hall community since he was 5 years old, beginning his journey as a White Sulphur Panther,” Burce wrote in announcing the account.

She added that, as of Sunday night, he was in ICU on a ventilator. “As a community, we want to surround his family with love, prayers, and financial support as they remain by his side during his road to recovery,” Burce added. “Any financial contribution, no matter the amount, would be a great blessing. It will help cover food and snacks for the family, as well as medical expenses for our favorite #3, also known as ‘The Beast!'”

She closed with “Thank you in advance for your prayers and support!”

As of late Sunday night, $5,852 of the $10,000 goal had been contributed by 105 donors. If you would like to contribute, click here: Fundraiser by JESSICA BURCE : Support Chasen’s ICU Recovery Journey
