Eden to seek new term; GHCC student Arbor Day winners; Trump takes N.H.

*Hall County Tax Commissioner Darla Eden Tuesday announced plans to run for re-election this year. Eden is completing her 12th year in the office.

*The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee and the Georgia Forestry Service Tuesday announced the winners of the 2024 Arbor Day Student Art and Essay Contest.  Dozens of student art entries and 67 essays were submitted with the topic “I Speak for the Trees.” The winners are:

Art by 3rd Grader: Melany Nova, Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy

Winning Essay by 5th Grader: Sahara Alvarez, Centennial Arts Academy

Winning Vision 2030 Art by 3rd Grader: Alayna Waldrep, Riverbend Elementary
