Early voting recap: Hall turnout 13.4%

Another round of early voting in Georgia has come and gone and the Secretary of State’s office is reporting that statewide the turnout for the three weeks was 13.9%

So, what about the Gainesville area?

Looks like Lumpkin County led the way with a 20.2% showing with Barrow bringing up the rear with 9.9% among the counties adjacent to Hall, where the turnout was 13.4%.

Elsewhere: Forsyth 13.7%, Dawson 14.6, White 15.8, Habersham 16%, Banks 12.7, Jackson 12.7, and Gwinnett 12.

The primaries are Tuesday. As usual, polls will be open 7:00-7:00 but anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
