It’s the final day of early voting in Georgia for the May 19 primaries.
Updated information on turnout was not available last night but the number voting as of last weekend was 6.0 % of the county’s 144,842 active voters registered with the county elections office. There had been 6,554 Republican ballots cast, 2,068 Democratic and 78 non-partisan.
This was the turnout in the counties adjacent to Hall:
Banks – 6.3%
Barrow – 4.8%
Dawson – 7.0%
Gwinnett – 5.0%
Habersham – 5.5%
Jackson – 5.1%
White – 8.0%
Statewide, the turnout was 6.2%, including 246,777 Democratic ballots, 204,976 Republican, and 6,881 Non-Partisan.
