GAINESVILLE FIRE DEPT. NEWS RELEASE:
“(Tuesday morning) morning at 2:30 Gainesville Fire Department responded to Carrington Park apartments. Multiple units arrived to find one of the garage units fully involved.
Firefighters were able to fully control the fire by 3:09 am.
The fire destroyed one garage unit and damaged several passenger vehicles. Gainesville
Fire personnel worked to keep the fire from spreading to any of the adjacent apartments,
and thankfully there were no injuries reported for this incident.”
Georgia Power was called to the scene to secure utilities while Fire investigators were
called and are currently in the process of determining the cause of the fire.”
