Early a.m. fire destroys Hall Co. home, no injuries

An early morning fire Sunday destroyed a house in the West Hall area but the two people who were there at the time escaped uninjured.

HCFR NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 7:30, firefighters responded to the 3300 block of Russell Drive for reports of a residential fire. Upon arrival they found a small single-story residential structure with a working fire but it was quickly extinguished.

The flames extended to the surrounding woods but were extinguished as well. Both occupants exited the structure prior to firefighters’ arrival. The home is a total loss, and the cause is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
