An early morning fire Monday in Gillsville left four people uninjured but homeless.
“At approximately 5:30 a.m., Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) was dispatched to the 3600 block of Holly Springs Road in Gillsville for reports of a residential fire,” HCFR spokeswoman Kimberlie Ledsinger said. “First arriving units discovered a fully involved structure and began a defensive attack from the exterior of the home.”
The Red Cross was notified to assist the four displaced occupants.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known but is being investigated by the county fire marshal.
