E. Hall fire displaces four

HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE (HCFR) NEWS RELEASE:

“At approximately 7:30 p.m. (Saturday) Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 3500 block of Harmony Church Road in Gainesville for reports of a working residential fire.

First arriving units began a fire attack while searching the structure. The crews attacked the flames from the interior of the home and extinguished the bulk of the fire. 

The primary search and secondary search were all clear. The American Red Cross was notified for two adults and two children. Six kittens were rescued from the residence and treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”

The road was closed for a time because of the fire.
