GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“Upon arrival, the Trooper determined a 2009 Honda Civic was traveling north on West Ridge Road and rear ended a 2004 Dodge Caravan. After impact, the Honda Civic traveled off the roadway and left the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Caravan, Ernesto Arroyo (64) of Gainesville, was able to provide a tag from the Honda Civic (and it) was stopped by a Hall County Deputy and the driver, Amberley Nicole Millwood (38) of Gainesville, was interviewed by the Trooper. It was determined that Mrs. Millwood was under the influence of drugs. Mrs. Millwood’s information was checked through GCIC (Georgia Crime Information Center) and it was found that her license was suspended, for a previous DUI charge.
Her vehicle was searched and a white rock-like substance was found in the glovebox. The substance was field tested and was positive for cocaine. Mrs. Millwood was charged with Hit and Run, Following Too Close, Failure to Maintain Lane, DUI, and Driving on a Suspended License.
Mrs. Millwood was taken to Hall County Jail and warrants were taken for charges. There were no injuries reported from occupants.”
