Drugs, guns seized, two arrests made in E. Hall

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:

“Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), with assistance from the Banks County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations, have arrested two suspects on felony drug and weapons charges. One of the suspects also faces theft charges. Warrants are pending for a third suspect in the case.

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, investigators conducted a search warrant on a residence and a camper in the 3200 block of Hall Drive in the eastern part of Hall County. During the search, they recovered just over 131 grams of methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia. The street value of the methamphetamine was placed at $9,825. Investigators also seized a total of eight firearms.

Additionally, a motorcycle reported stolen from a location in Stephens County was found on the property.

Those charged in the incident are James Rudolph Campbell, 50, and Kayla Leann Dore, 30. Campbell lived in the camper on the property, while Dore lived in the residence.

Campbell faces the following charges:

·         Trafficking in methamphetamine

·         Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute

·         Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (5 counts)

·         Misdemeanor possession of marijuana

·         Theft by receiving

Dore faces the following charges:

·         Possession of methamphetamine (1/2 gram)

·         Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (3 counts)

Both Campbell and Dore remain in the Hall County Jail with no bond.”
