Double-digit dips in gas prices all around

Drivers continue getting a break at the pump as the summer travel season heats up with double-digit decreases since last week nationally, in Georgia, and in Gainesville.

For the first time since March 30, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is down to $3.93, according to AAA. This marks nearly four straight weeks of declines and is 19 cents less than a week ago. Crude oil prices are also down again.

The average in Gainesville is $3.57 compared to $3.67 last week and the state average is down eleven cents to $3.65.
