A former employee’s seven-page letter of resignation delivered to 97.5 Glory FM Wednesday includes a number of things the writer says made Hall County’s Development Services Department (DSD) an unpleasant place to work under the leadership of former director Kristi Turner.
The source who provided the letter said Turner, who resigned a week ago, stepped down in lieu of termination due to accusations made in the letter. EARLIER STORY. POSTED AUG. 12: “Hall County officials announced Tuesday that Director of Development Services Kristie Turner has submitted her resignation, effective immediately. Turner had held the post for just over a year and had worked for the county for more than two years. Interim Hall County Administrator John Gentry said she contributed to several initiatives, including playing a pivotal role in the Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Code processes. No reason was given for her resignation.”
The letter is dated August 10 and addressed to Turner.
