DeKalb Co. fugitive arrested in S. Hall now facing local charges

A Gwinnett County man who was arrested during a traffic stop a year in Flowery Branch and found to be a fugitive from DeKalb Couty is now facing charges filed by Flowery Branch Police.

When he was arrested in June of 2025, Todd Sebrell Stanley, 55, Lawrenceville, was found to be in possession of stolen property and burglary tools, police said.

Officers stopped him near the intersection of Lights Ferry Road and Church Street for speeding. Stanley was then found to have an active arrest warrant out of DeKalb County.

Police say they searched the vehicle and located lock‑picking tools along with numerous items suspected to be stolen. Stanley was arrested was then arrested on the DeKalb warrant.

But further investigation since his arrest into the suspected stolen merchandise resulted in additional charges od theft by receiving stolen property and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

He was booked into the Hall County Jail Thursday and was still locked up as of early Friday evening.
