Dawson TSPLOST Q&A; Good News ribbon cutting; New assignment for SHMS principal

*A question-and-answer session is scheduled in Dawsonville April 22 at a town hall meeting on a planned Transportation Sales Tax (TSPLOST) referendum May 21. The meeting will be held at Dawson County Junior High School 6:00-8:00. The Dawson County Chamber of Commerce says attendees will be able to learn more about TSPLOST and the proposed projects that the money would fund. *Ribbon cutting will be held Friday at 12:30 for the expansion of Gainesville’s Good News Clinics – the Northeast Georgia Health System Education Center. *Hall County Schools Supt. Will Scofield intends to recommend South Hall Middle School (SHMS) Principal Joey Millwood as the next Director of Student Services for the Hall County School District. The recommendation will be made at the Monday school board meeting. Millwood will step into the position being vacated by Tamara Etterling, who will retire at the end of April. (SHMS) Assistant Principal, Kristi House will assume the role of Associate Principal as Millwood transitions to his new position.
