“WHAT: Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) maintenance forces will be in Dawson County on State Route (SR) 52 icordinating pavement preservation on the roadway by strip sealing. The work zone will begin at SR 183 and continue to the Lumpkin County line. Single lane closures will take place May 6 – 23, 2024, Monday through Thursday or until the roadwork is complete.
WHEN: May 6 through May 23, 2024 or until project is completed. Single lane closure will occur Daily from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday – weather permitting.
