*The motorcyclist killed in a Dawson County over the weekend has been identified as Leonard Cantrell, 30, of Dawsonville. The state patrol says Cantrell died Saturday night when a car turned into his path at Lee Castleberry Road at Foxgrove Drive.
*A hit-and-run in South Hall early Monday morning left a 64-year-old woman on the side of the road suffering from what were later determined to be non-life-threatening injuries. State troopers say they got the call to Tumbling Creek Road about 7:00. The injured woman was identified as Cheryl Sckupakus of Commerce. Anyone with any information on the car involved is asked to call the state patrol.
