HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
“Ryan Daniel Kinev, 38, of Gainesville, has been arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of
children after Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators followed up on a cybertip an
discovered child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in his possession.
On Thursday, March 28, 2024, investigators conducted a search of a residence on Lotheridge
Road and seized several electronic devices belonging to Kinev. At this point in the investigation,
HCSO officials have found two images and two videos of children either being molested by
adults or engaged in sexual acts with other children. Additional charges are expected in this case.
Kinev has been charged with four felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains in
the Hall County Jail with no bond.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC)
Task Force are assisting HCSO with the ongoing investigation.”
