*After years of dreaming, planning, and working toward this moment – Furkids, the Forsyth County-based no-kill animal shelter, has officially moved into its new, 14,000 square foot Sutherlin Dog Shelter. The new accommodations can handle twice as many dogs as FurKinds could previously.
*John’s Creek is going to be housing some of its prisoners in the Forsyth County Jail. The reason? It’s less expensive and time-consuming to take them to Cumming. They’ve been being housed in the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta.
