The litigation alleges that certain management personnel who are paid by the hour are not getting paid for working overtime.
The plaintiffs include Jessica Schafer of Cumming. Another Georgian, Caitlin Throckmmorton of Douglasville, is also a party to the suit which was filed in federal court in Florida, Publix’s home base.
Publix officials had no immediate comment on the suit.
