A 24-year-old Cumming man was fatally injured in a wrong-way head-on crash on Dawsonville Highway about midnight Friday.
The state patrol says Andrew Will, who died about twenty minutes after the wreck near Harbour Point Parkway, was traveling east in the westbound lanes at the time of the crash. His SUV collided with one driven by Natasha Woodland, 20, of Kingsland, Georgia, which was headed west.
Both lanes of Dawsonville Highway were shut down for approximately one hour while the accident was investigated.
Woodland was also seriously injured and taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
