Cumming getting federal $$$ for free health clinic

Cumming is among Georgia communities and public agencies that will share in Georgia’s portion of funding included in the second Fiscal Year 2024 government funding bill that was approved by the U.S. Senate recently by a vote of 74-24.

Cumming will use the $11,000 it is getting for equipment for a free health clinic, according to Sen. Raphael Warnock. “The money will go to Forsyth Community Clinic to purchase the necessary equipment for a brand-new free healthcare clinic so that Forsyth County can properly treat patients,” Warnock said.
