The analysis from the financial tech company defines comfort using a 50-30-20 budget. Half goes to necessities, 30 percent to wants, and 20 percent to savings or debt.
*Tybee Island residents weighed in on proposed changes to the city’s short-term rental rules on Thursday night. Mayor Brian West tells WSAV-TV that the goal is to allow more rentals in areas already focused on tourism while protecting quieter residential neighborhoods. Caps would range from 30 to 60 percent of eligible residential units that could operate as vacation rentals.
