Matt Osborne, editor of The Northeast Georgian, passed away suddenly at the age of 47 at his home in Cornelia Thursday, leaving behind his wife and three children.
Osborne had been editor of Cornelia-based paper since 2019 and had previous experience with newspapers in New Jersey, North Carolina, and Florida.
His cause of death has not been released and funeral arrangements have not been announced.
