A concrete plant is planned south of Gainesville on Candler Road near Dale Road.
That is among several items the Hall County Planning Commission (HCPC) is scheduled to consider during its first meeting of the new year on Jan. 2.
According to the agenda for the meeting, the facility would be on 33 acres and would be in the business of manufacturing “cement, cement products, concrete, clay products, lime, gypsum, brick, tile or plaster of Paris.” The developers are asking the planning commission to approve a “Use Subject to County Commission Approval.” The site is zoned Industrial-II.
Also, on the agenda for that meeting are requests involving 2-, 3-, and 5-lot subdivisions.
