Clyde, others in Ga. congressional delegation send letter to postmaster general

 9th District Congressman Andrew Clyde and other members of the Georgia congressional delegation are demanding more action from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy over the status of mail delivery in the Peach State.

In a letter to DeJoy, the Jackson County Republican and the others demand that he immediately fulfill his legal obligation to seek an advisory opinion from the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) for the agency’s recent consolidation process in the Peach State. 

Earlier this year, the USPS transitioned and consolidated local Processing & Distribution Centers (PDC) across North Georgia to the Postal Service’s new Regional Processing & Distribution Center (RPDC) in Palmetto. (That’s when the complaints began to come in about mail delivery.
