The Gainesville City School Board is expected to adopt the school calendar for the 2024-2025 school year when it meets Tuesday night.
Adoption of the calendar is one of several items on the agenda for the board’s first meeting of the new year. It’s also expected to set a timeline for working toward adoption of the FY25 budget.
But before members start work on those items and others on the agenda, one returning board member and two new members must be sworn in, and officers elected for the new year.
