Christmas morning fire destroys W. Hall home

A fire early Christmas morning destroyed a house off Browns Bridge Road. There were three people at home at the time but all escaped unharmed, according to Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR).

“At approximately 2:00 a.m. Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 3500 block of Lamplighter Cove Road for reports of a residential fire. First arriving units found a two story home fully engulfed.

Crews began a defensive attack eventually suppressing the fire from the exterior of the structure using hand lines and aerial operations. No injuries were reported from the scene and all of the residents exited the home prior to HCFR arrival.

The American Red Cross was notified for the two displaced adults and one child. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office at this time.”
