Marla Lear is the choice to serve as the next Principal of West Hall High School.
Hall County Schools Supt. Will Schofield announced Friday that he intends to recommend Lear for the job to the county school board when it meets May 11.
Lear, who is currently Principal at Myers Elementary School, will replace Dr. Ley Hathcock, who recently announced he would be seeking other opportunities in the Hall County School District. (HCSD).
Lear brings more than two decades of experience in education, including over 20 years of
service within Hall County Schools since 2005. For the past six years, she has served as principal at Myers Elementary.
