*A 30-year-old man was booked into the Hall County Jail late Friday night on a single charge of Child Molestation. Bond had not been set at last check Saturday.
*Gainesville Police are investigating a reported loss of more than $30,000 in jewelry by a local jewelry store. According to spokesman Kevin Holbrook, the missing items were to be delivered by a private carrier in separate shipments – one with $5,000 worth of jewelry and other containing $25,136 worth. The items were reported missing Tuesday.
*A 32-year-old woman was arrested early Friday evening and charged with Cruelty to Children (1st degree). As of mid-afternoon Saturday, she was still in the Hall County Jail and no bond had been set.
Details of these incidents are not expected to be released until law enforcement offices reopen Monday following the weekend. Not included in this report are arrests for other things such as DUI and other traffic violations, drug possession, domestic disputes, etc.
