Robert Wilson, the principal of Chicopee Woods Elementary School, is Hall County Schools Supt. Will Schofield’s choice to become Director of School Improvement for the school district and Roxie Miller is Schofield’s pick to replace him. She currently serves as the school’s Assistant Principal.
Wilson served as a School Improvement Specialist with the Georgia Department of Education and later served as an Assistant Principal in Fulton County Schools. He joined the Hall County School District as an Assistant Principal at Flowery Branch Elementary School, where he served for two years before spending six years as Principal of Lyman Hall Elementary School. Wilson then served seven years as Principal of Cherokee Bluff Middle School. He has led Chicopee Woods for one school year.
Miller previously served as Assistant Principal at Spout Springs School of Enrichment. Prior to moving into administration, she worked as an early intervention teacher at Wauka Mountain Multiple Intelligences Academy and taught at the elementary level at Wauka Mountain, Riverbend Advanced Scholars Academy, and Lyman Hall Elementary School.
Schofield will make his recommendations to the school board June 22.
